2 Cases of Mixed Tumor of Salivary Gland in Ectopic Sites

Abstract
Mixed tumor is the most common tumor of salivary glands and occurs most frequently in the parotid gland. Mixed tumor occurs occasionally in the submaxillary glands and less frequently in the other sites, such the sabl gual glands, pharynn, palate; tongue, gum, lips, cheek, larynx, trachea, bronchi, jaw, subcutaneons tissue of .the face, external aith ory canal; middle ear and esophagus.
Author have recently experienced 2 cases of ectopic salivary gland tumor of hard palate and lower lip which had been removed completely.
The histopathological study reported pleoihophic adenoma (mixed tumor).
